Volume One in the Proposal Series: Himuro Edition. Takes place when Himuro first comes to America. Darcy Holmes is the definition of anti-social. As a young child, she had no clue how to cultivate and keep friendships with other people, so eventually she gave up on trying. All that changes, however, when handsome Japanese exchange-student, Himuro Tatsuya, ends up in the house just across the street from her. Unable to speak a word of English, Himuro is in need of someone to show him the ropes of his new home and, according to her concerned mother, Darcy is just the person for the job. Love blooms quickly between the two outcasts, but the forces at work seem determined to keep them apart...especially when a fiery red-head enters the picture and disturbs the balance shared between Darcy and her only friend.

Akira, a cold, distant young woman, accepted into Ouran Academy on pure intelligence alone. From the moment she steps foot into the academy, she is ignored, ridiculed and ostracized. She draws into herself, trying to act like it didn't bother her. On one of her worse days, she looks for a quiet place to think, but instead finds a music room with seven perfect gentlemen inside. Of those seven gentlemen come six friends and one who will mean so much more to her. Loosely based on the anime, but I do go off on my own pretty often. (A little crude in the beginning, but I promise you'll love it)
