Now there are five different domes in the world, designed and built to create a new world for mankind. A fresh start. The domes are meant to protect mankind from experiencing the horrible tradegy of the plague.

The Devoured Sons: Book One: Echoes of The Solemn Veil

3 parts Complete

Two generations after The Solemn Veil killed billions, AI Humanara rebuilt society, but not everything is as it seems. What secrets lie beyond the veil? The sun became our enemy, hurling lethal radiation through the Earth's suddenly and suspiciously weakened magnetosphere. Those who survived the initial onslaught cowered underground or in concrete towers, hoping to save themselves from man and elements alike. Just when humanity's future appeared most dire, the Benefactor emerged, sending his legions of AI Humanara to save the world and integrate with society. He was our savior-or so we thought. I lived behind the walls of Nashville, one of six districts inside the city-state of Athens. There was very little crime, and we never went without necessities. However, something about my life had always felt inherently wrong. I felt as if I were missing a part of my soul. After one elaborate night with friends, I discovered the simple yet elusive answer: freedom. As I pen this warning on the last day of a long life, I intend to share the truths I've unearthed about freedom, the illusions of peace, and the price of utopia so that you don't make the same mistakes we did. Thus, I invite you to go beyond the veil with me.
