Asha lived what she saw as an ordinary life. She lived with her father, part of the American Ambassador's team, she'd lived in Britain most of her life. She'd just moved back to the United States, her dad starting his way up the senatorial ladder in California.
Her mother was running her fortune five-hundred Grow Corp in Denver and transferred to California to show them as being one happy family.
Then the virus had come. Some people said that it was a bio-weapon, others thought it was released from the ice-caps melting. They were wrong, but who cared when in six months people started dying. Seven billion people turned to four.
Humanity bounced back, anger simmered with old enemies, blaming one another for the virus. Alliances grew stronger and became the standard of governments in certain areas.
Asha was now the owner of her mother and father's fortune, and her mother's tech company.
She scrambled to get control of it and finish high school. She even started to make her first friends.
Odd stories floated around of people with strange abilities.

Asha was one of them, and she found out the truth about the virus and what was really going on.
It wasn't an accident, it was an attack, and another was coming.
