Child of death

I never believed my mother when she said, "children can kill." She said that while I was pregnant, she took me into a hospital were my sister was giving birth, half way with the baby, she died. I stared at her lifeless body, my mom told me children could kill. She wasn't wrong.
Now, I was scared, I wasn't ready to die, I didn't want to know what happens when I give birth, if I live, as I heard rumours the baby's will try to kill me...
