Nick Fury is a man without the time to teach a whiny group of super humans how to work as a team, so instead of sending the heroes into more war zones, he decides to give them a challenge unlike any other they've dealt with before - raising a kid.
For the past six years, Charlotte Kelton has known nothing but her foster home. That is, of course, until she realizes that the strange group of people who just adopted her are the same ones who saved New York last summer.
Will Charlotte finally be the one to unite the Avengers for a reason other than Nick Fury's orders or will she unknowingly become their greatest weakness?
A/N: I decided to write this fanfiction due to the lack of actually realistic ones out there. My goal is to create a story that follows the original plot of the Marvel universe with my own unique twist on it, has proper grammar and spelling, and has canon characterization, plus without all the cliche "I met you five minutes ago so now I'm going to call you Dad". If anyone notices an error, please comment and I will fix it ASAP! Romanogers: Cold as Ice
First, this is a fanfic for Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and Steve Rogers/Captain America. Second, this will kind of go through the MCU timeline but not a lot. It will jump around and have some new parts. Third, I don't know everything about the Avengers but I know enough (I think). Fourth, this might have spelling errors and I'm sorry if it does. Fifth, this is meant for a little older audience so just warning this will have foul language, blood, guns, and fighting. This won't have descriptive sex scenes because i don't like writing those.
