Noong unang siglo nabuhay ang mga dragon. Nakasama nila ang mga tao. Ngunit dahil sa isang di malamang pagkamatay ng tao, pinagbintangan ng hari ang mga dragon.

Nagpadala ang hari ng mga sundalo, mangkukulam, salamangkero at mga hunter upang patayin ang mga dragon.
Wala silang itinira kahit isa, lahat ng madaanan nila ay namamatay.

Pero...hindi nila alam na may naiwang isa.

Mahabang panahon ang lumipas. Naging sibilisado ang mga tao. Nakalimutan nila ang hiwaga ng mundo. Nakalimutan ang mga mangkukulam, ang mga salamangkero, ang mga hunter... at lalo na ang mga dragon.

Isang dalaga ang makakatuklas nito. Makikilala niya ang mga kathang isip na binuo ng tao, kahit totoo silang nabubuhay sa mundo.

Ang nag-iisang dragon...siya ang tutulong sa mga tao. Siya ang magpapabago sa mundo...
