She had always captivated him.  Always.  The way she moved, the way she smiled, the way her eyes twinkled when she happened to glance his way.  

Everything about her was ethereal and sublime.  He had always been enamored by her.  Even from afar.  Even when she did not know about him.  He was just her silent spectator.  Observing and admiring from far off.  

And he had hoped it would stay that way.  

Her, not knowing, about him.

Because there was one thing he knew about her that no one else did. 

She was of the fae.

This was my entry for the AMACon2016 over at Twitter and here on WP.  I am planning on continuing with this story if people would like. She just laughed viciously without answering him, she didn't have to waste her time with an insect; leaving La to die imprisoned in the house where she was kidnapped. "Answer me!" She thanked the heavens for this second chance by promising that she wouldn't be fooled a second time.
