In case you didn't realize the narrator of my book "David" is Juliet. (Yes most of the poems were personal but I kind of wanted to play around with the same idea but from a different perspective, after all there is always two sides to every story.) This book is the other side of the story through another sequel of poems, and this time the narrator is David.

This is a series of poems about a woman i was once in love with long ago. Everything was sweet like strawberries at first, but deep down she was just using me as a rebound to get over a broken heart she has. We met in a speech class one semester, I couldn't talk to her, I shyly had someone else to talk to her. long story short, I should have got to know her like should, because she judged me for what had and didn't have. i loved her so much that I knew that she was cheating on me and wanted her to stay, but God removed her out of my life. she done so much wrong to me, but love her even of all her flaws. His heart was the key to his love. His heart was a wonderful broken place. His heart was mine and my heart was his. "What are you doing to me, Isabella?" I was left speechless but before my brain could even register his words, his lips were on mine. My body was immediately ignited with an unknown fire. My heart was pounding in my chest, rapidly, as he moved his soft lips on mine. I was shocked at first but not really knowing what I was doing... I kissed him back.
