24 parts Ongoing Mature
Estelle Beaumont just wanted a peaceful hike on her last day of vacation. Instead, one ill-starred moment of curiosity leaves her miraculously stranded in the fictional world of Prythian--a faerie realm full of ruthless court drama, rampant misogyny, and enough deadly magic to keep anyone up at night. Armed with foreknowledge that's only helpful when it isn't actively trying to get her killed, Estelle quickly discovers that living through the story of ACOTAR is far less fun and far more perilous when it's her own basic-ass, untrained mortal life on the line. Her plan is simple: keep her hands off of the plot and survive long enough to find a way back to the family and love she left behind. But the so-called "Mother" clearly has other plans for Estelle, forcing her to confront an unsettling truth--that her role here in Prythian might be far greater than that of a passive observer. As Estelle reluctantly abandons her original plan, uneasy alliances form, old wounds reopen, and fractured trust begins to mend. Love, loss, and scars of the past converge as Estelle slowly starts to see that the family she thought she'd lost might take a new shape, and that the life she left behind might be the only reason she's prepared for the fight ahead. But the cost of shaping Prythian's future--and her own--might be greater than she can bear. After all, it's a future that was never meant to be hers to begin with. And this is all that damned Cauldron's fault... ☆⊱──────⊰ ☽✧☾ ⊱──────⊰☆ A/N: This fanfiction is purely self-indulgent. If you don't like self-insert/iseki like tropes were an original character who read the books ends up in the fictional world as the new main character, you might want to skip this. Somethings will stay very familiar, others will diverge completely, and I plan to add extra world building along the way. Slowburn romance.

50 parts Complete
When Eira was seven, she was involved in a car crash that left her mother dead and her with no memories of the incident. Therefore, it's impossible for her to realize that she has been chosen to succeed her mother as the last 'Ice Elemental', one of six guardians with the power to control specific elements that keeps everything from teetering into chaos. Nine years later, now a student in high school in Snowspell Wisconsin, her dad has secretly trained her to blend in and be 'invisible' amongst her peers. That becomes much more difficult for her when she unwittingly begins to develop special abilities in front of everyone in her high school cafeteria, including Alexander, a mysterious new student with a strange tattoo on his ear, a hidden ability to teleport, and a keen interest in the necklace given to her by her mom right before she died. Eira learns that she is being protected from anyone or anything that may do her harm and it's not long before an evil entity with an army of dark souls, (including her mother's) knows exactly who and where she is. With the dark entity's army, the "Achlys" unrelenting in their search and closing in, Eira and Alexander escape into seclusion. Confused, unprepared and hunted by an army of darkness that would just as soon as kill her as capture her, Eira must quickly mature and develop into the Elemental power she was destined to become or she and those she loves may face the same fate that her mother did years ago.

In the bustling city of Vayloria, a young hero named Kael stood atop a high-rise, gazing out over the twinkling lights. His mind was a whirlwind of thoughts, but one name echoed louder than the rest: Selene. Years ago, in a quieter time, Kael and Selene were inseparable. They grew up together, two adventurous souls always seeking the next thrill. From exploring the enchanted forests on the outskirts of Vayloria to uncovering hidden secrets within the city, their bond was forged in the fires of countless adventures. Kael was the embodiment of hope and bravery. With his brown hair and determined brown eyes, he became the symbol of justice for Vayloria. His innate ability to manipulate light made him a formidable force against the shadows that threatened their city. Selene, on the other hand, was the strategic mind behind their escapades. Her intelligence was matched only by her fierce loyalty to Kael. Her blonde hair and piercing blue eyes gave her an air of innocence, masking her cunning nature. Her affinity for shadows complemented Kael's light, making them a perfect team. However, as they grew older, a shadow crept into their lives. Selene began to change, becoming more distant and secretive. Kael tried to reach out, but the more he tried, the further she seemed to slip away. One fateful day, Kael discovered the truth: Selene had allied herself with the darker forces in Vayloria. She had taken on the mantle of "Nightshade," using her powers for her own gain and leaving a trail of chaos in her wake. From that moment, Kael vowed to stop her, no matter the cost. He couldn't let her destroy the city they had sworn to protect. And so, the former best friends became bitter enemies, their battles shaking the very foundations of Vayloria.
