Larissa Malkiewicz is a girl with a talent for singing, and a dark past. As much as she tries to forget it, her past seems to work its way into her everyday life, causing her to act as though she still lives there. It's too much for one girl to bear, but thankfully she has her best friend Ruby Collins to get her through some of the toughest of times. Ruby also has an amazing singing voice, and often got together with Larissa to write songs about their lives. That is until Ruby moves to upstate New York, and Larissa is thrown out. Falling back on her horseback riding abilities and her voice, Larissa is out to make it on her own. She auditions for X Factor after living for two years in the slums of Brooklyn. But after her audition, things begin to pick up the pace in her life. Now part of the biggest girl band in the world, she has guys wrapped around her finger and drooling at her feet.
