How did I end up here? In this game where pain and death are real? Where the only thing worse than dying is being resurrected. Where I can't logout. Now, we are expected to climb this tower full of monsters that will "Lead to Radiance", or something. The only thing I do know is the Tower is the way out. The Fairy King
This is an orginal story I am writing a novel of. It's about Raven, a boy who loses everything important to him before he graduates high school. He then is thrust into a bizzare scenario where he is a part of a group of half siblings that embark on a journey to they Fairy Kings palace. The King is very old and has no living fairy children to leave his thrown to. He has asked his trusted body guards of his half human children to bring them to him. He will give them a series of tests to see which one will win the crown. Raven has nothing more to lose so why not try to become the crown prince of Fairyland.Complete
A Short Story
This is just a story I had to write for a thing. Personally, I like it, it's relatively short, has Undertale vibes, and talks about the joy children bring to the world even though I hate children! I'm good with them, I just hate them. Also, a few parts aren't entirely descriptive (especially towards the end because thats when I got sick and had to wrap things up quickly) because I was on a time limit.Complete

In JOS I set the rogue and con-artist Harric against a foil of warriors in a land threatened by magic and civil war. Whenever possible I turn familiar tropes on their heads: instead of a handsome young Lancelot, I cast a broken-down ex-champion addicted to pain-killing herbs; instead of a dashing Squire Brian, the old knight reluctantly takes an ambitious young woman as squire. Similarly, I re-imagine the standard medieval milieu by infusing aspects of two of my favorite historical periods, Elizabethan England, and The American Frontier. Both eras boast a kind of nationalistic arrogance that borders on hubris, and a magnificent spirit of resourcefulness and re-invention that is fun to play with. Now, thanks to a hacking mishap, I'm a regular girl in reality-with a debt and an attitude-navigating Rimelion, the VR game I once mastered, as Charlie, an elven priestess with more than a few tricks up her sleeve. Seriously though, fighting in high heels? Will I claw my way up the nobility ladder? Dominate the rankings? Outwit the government and their plans to exploit us all? Maybe. But something's off.
