He stood strong, ready to watch her walk away. "I am one of the most skilled assassins to have ever served in the League of Assassins." She took a step towards him, "I can kill a man, tear his heart out, and still look at myself in the mirror." "What does that have to do with anything?" He growled, taken aback by her words. He opened his mouth to argue, knowing full well that she would cut him off before he could speak. "I don't need you to change who you are. I just need to know you'll stand beside me regardless of what I've done." She stared deeply into his eyes, refusing to back down. "You deserve more than a criminal, Allen," he argued, frustrated. "That's all I am. Nothing more." "An assassin deserves more than a criminal?" She laughed. "I am a criminal- A murderer. How does that make me better than you?"
