This story was inspired by the MV "Forever Young" by the Korean group BTS, but does not take ideas from the theories of MBMIL. Compassion Distorted takes a look into an alternate reality where people are born with special powers which relate to their future, for example: knowing when you touch someone how your relationship will end. One boy, Jungkook, is born with a maze in his head with only the most important people to him inside, coming and going depending on their relationship with him. These people appear with objects with them that allude an issue that they carry as well, giving Jungkook the ability to use his compassion to help these people. But how bad can compassion turn when his six closest friends appear with objects he cannot explain? Does the amount that compassion help others justify the damage done to oneself?
