No Regrets

I stepped up onto the podium with confidence, something that the old me wouldn't do in a million years.
As I looked over the vast sea of furs that lay before me, all silent, waiting for my voice to follow through the microphone.
I regain my confidence, and start.
"When I was little, I didn't think I could do anything right, or even begin to lead a following of this many people. I wanted to change the world, but I never thought I could..."
I paused,
"But times change..."
