Alani never fit in at school. She is confused about her sexuality, making her even more a misfit. When she has nowhere else to turn, to she relies on the internet to make friends. She gets onto the social networking scene, becoming a "Catfish". After a while, she meets Rayan (Ray Ray) from Mindless Behavior, so her fake identity really shines through. Alani lies about her age, personality, and appearance. Alani doesn’t think she’s doing anything wrong, but what if Rayan starts to get suspicious about Alani? Will they feature on Catfish, or will Alani confess?
