In life, we are in situations or have something close to your heart. With this at mind, you feel like you're on top of the world, cause you're satisfied.

This is everything to you, your satisfaction. You love it, breathe it, and would do everything for it to maintain it in life. But, the tables can turn and all that you've ever known might slowly slip from your grasp, like sand through your fingers, or be completely ripped from your heart without any warning. The satisfaction may or may not have disappeared. Although, satisfaction isn't happiness, it's settling.

Then, happiness comes along into your life. You crash into it, only to walk away with a little piece of it still clinging to you, causing you to want to run back for more. You feel alive, like your life is starting to come together, and you know what you're living for and grow excited when crossing paths with it every now and then. You're happy with even just a glance. Although, this new feeling, happiness, isn't enough to let go of the old one, but you can't just forget this new piece of joy either. So you stay in secret, living the best of both worlds.
