People called Alex a freak. Weirdo. Fake boy. Mute. Fag. So on and so on. Alex didn't deny it. She didn't entirely care in fact cause she knew she was different from the other kids. But it wasn't from being mute, having ASD, was intersex, or that her abusive, drunk father forces her to work in his mechanic shop for zero pay. No, it was the fact that she could make things happen without even meaning too. When upset, Alex can make lightbulbs explode. Hurt people accidentally by breaking their bones or sending them flying across the room without touching them. Make the ground beneath her tremble and so much more.
