My life before my eighteenth birthday was normal (cliche starter but i wrote this description long time ago let me live). Well, sort of. Besides a love of the night, dark clothes, and being what people call "an exotic beauty", I'm your stereotypical Cali girl. I surf, swim, have a great tan, and practically live at the beach. Scratch that I do live at the beach.... But I digress (hello fancy word i probably learned the day before writing this). I'm not going to beat around the bush. I'm strange. I have all ways known it, embraced it, and not really cared about it all that much. I mean, if people want to stare at me, let them stare. If they want to judge me, let them, I don't care. I am what I am and nothing they say or do can change that. Anywho, my eighteenth birthday had a few more surprises than the normal "surprise" birthday party. An example being waking up with a giant tattoo of a dragon that moves around my body. Not that's not cool. I mean, it's a free, painless, tattoo! Little did I know that that was just the beginning of the wild ride that is the Fae. (I honestly might end up making this a fluffy little love story if the fantasy thing doesn't work out. Maybe i'll make it gay. We'll see lol) (( I might end up changing the description if I start going another direction with this story ,or just bc this is really bad, but it's gonna stay like this for now))

Mermaids, beaches, fairies! this place is awesome. someone then snatched the book out my hands. "Mermaids? what is this crap?" I looked up to see Cynthia and her clique. "why do you carry this thing around with you all the time?" I stood up and held out my hand. "give it back." "why? it's not like you can read it, you're stupid." Her words didn't mean anything to me but those words are going to come back to me tonight and punch me in the face. "How old are you? aren't you like 16 and reading this children's book?" How long have you been here Michelle? Tears welled up in my eyes. I knew what was coming next. "answer me, hoe!" "10 years" I mumbled. "10 years and still haven't been adopted? that's sad. why are you still living? no one loves you. no one ever will. I bet your parents crashed their car on purpose just to get away from you." I had enough. I threw myself at her. I slammed my fists into her pretty face. then her clique joined in. I was outnumbered. Everything got blurry after the second kick. They continued and I blacked out.
