Legends of Lux

Let me tell you a story. A story of a kingdom set in a world of legend and myth. A place where powerful creatures roam and evil kings rule. A kingdom with a princess as strong as she is beautiful, with a courage that matches that of the bravest man. Her journey is not an easy one. It is filled with magic, deals, treachery, lust, and maybe even love if she can be that lucky.

When Ashlyn's mother died, she had only been eight years old. Her father, King Rupert, had let his grief turn to cruelty. He began to tax his people ruthlessly and spent very little time with his once beloved daughter. Worse, the dark and cruel ruler of the neighboring kingdom of Dolosa, King Gareth, had somehow managed to weasel his way into her father's good graces. With Gareth corrupting Rupert's mind, it seemed her once peaceful kingdom would be tainted with evil.

Ten years later, Ashlyn has grown up beautiful and kind. At eighteen, she is the jewel of Astrum, her beloved kingdom. Unfortunately for her, her kingdom is now in critical condition. As of now, they and Dolosa are planning to engage in a gruesome and pointless war meant to kill or enslave dragons, the powerful creatures that live in the Misty Mountains. A war that will change Ashlyn's life forever.
