Sometimes in life, there's these small moments. Not long, but they're really incredible moments. Pure happiness. You're just so carefree you feel like you can fly up into the clouds and never come back down again.
I get those moments when I'm normally alone. In the car, windows down, radio up as loud as it'll go, not really giving a shit who hears your playlist because you're going 70 mph and who the hell cares what you're listening to because life is so great and the wind is blowing through your hair and you're smiling, actually smiling to yourself because you've never felt so happy and you'd give anything to feel like this all the time.
But then you get home or to whatever destination you're going to and it ends and crumples away like a piece of trash on the side of a busy road and you're back to how you were before.
And that, my friends, is life. Or, it used to be. Because, well, everything went to shit in our world.

Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. You Were Always a Daydreamer Draft Version
When you're forced to mask Reality with Fantasy. The lifted layers finally unveil the tombstone of self. The biggest cities into the tiniest pebbles The massive ideas and thoughts formed into merely something to fear. A protagonist who already forgot his name Remembers He is a Daydreamer. Which is the only way to cope with life after multiple tragedies. And the fraud on fake friends faces. Only to daydream. As losing touch takes a toll on that rotting indulgence slowly. This get's quite horrific as it goes on. It's not to enjoy but to reflect on and experience. I decided to publish the draft version, because I don't think I can fully finish YWAADD final edition any time soon. I am in the worst mental and emotional state ever. It's quite a struggle and I suffer heavily. So yeah, the polished draft kind of holds up aswell too. The final one is way longer and eventful. So, um yeah I don't expect this to get attention at all, it's kind of really mid in some parts. But enjoy, or don't I guess. Yes this was inspired by Everywhere At The End Of Time. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. Boarding School
When Sammy's parents got divorced, she didn't mind at all, because she knew that they weren't meant to be together, and if they weren't happy with each other, then they don't have to stay together for her sake. She lived with her mom, and her dad visited regularly, when he could get away from his work; running a top class private boarding school. Her mom turns on her when her favourite person leaves town, and her life slowly starts losing meaning, and she can't think of anything that makes her happy, except being with her best friend. Then, she goes too... With nothing making her happy in her small town, she makes a life-changing decision, that she thinks will benifit her, and make her life all that she wanted. Or, it could go very wrong and be worse than staying where she is. "Dad, I want to live with you" I told him over the phone, in tears. Nothing new there. "Samantha, you know I'd love you too, but there isn't any school around this area, remember? My school is in the countryside, with nothing within a short driving dinstance" he all but rejected me. "Then can I move schools? Attend your boarding school?" He was silent, then let out a long sigh of defeat. "I'll enroll you now. Pack your things, I'll send a car in the morning for you." That was all I needed to hear, and I was thrilled. Without making noise, I danced around my room and repeatedly thanked him. Later that night, after the usual abuse, I silently packed my things when she was passed out. I hurried in doing it, and stored them at the back of my closet so she couldn't see them when she checked up on me. You're doing it, Sammy. I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace.
