Lyric and Kurtis are the originals. Their parents were co-workers in a research institution and created this serum that gave humans special abilities. Osborn wanted to use this to create an army of villains for his own benefit. Sharon wouldn't agree to this so they divorced and went their separate ways as Lyric went with her mum while Kurtis was to be brought up by his dad. Eighteen years later effects of the serum start showing up as Lyric discovers she can read thoughts, compel people, has telekinesis and is also very fast. Other four teens at her school also experience these changes since they had been given the serum too, with each showing different abilities. Kurtis is send by Osborn to find a weakness in Lyric and her team so that in due time they attack and convert them to their evil side. What happens as the two long lost siblings get back together? Will Kurtis obey his dad and destroy his only sister?
