A boyish and free-spirited young woman, all she wants is to live her life on her own terms and be happy, even if it means being a constant headache to her parents. However, her carefree life takes a dramatic turn when she is brought to Alegria, Cebu, and forced into an engagement with a man she doesn't even know. Bound by family expectations, she discovers that she is destined to be married at the age of 18-a tradition her family upholds. Her rebellious spirit yearns for autonomy, but the looming presence of Ezequiel Theodore Laxamana, the man she is engaged to, complicates her fight for independence. How can she break free from the thread of destiny that ties her to Ezequiel? Will she find the courage to defy her family and create her own future, or will the weight of tradition force her to surrender her dreams?
