(Right after Blood of Olympus ends)

Newly resurrected Leo Valdez is devastated when Calypso decides to stay on Ogygia instead of returning to Camp Half Blood. Greek and Roman demigods at camp are recovering from the war, but Leo can't bring himself to be involved. It seems like no one will love him the way he thought Calypso did.

Then a new demigod named Eira Bowen comes along. She's beautiful, with black hair, high cheekbones, pale skin and bright blue eyes, but she also looks horribly familiar. Jason, Piper and Leo all realize that Eira bears resemblance to one of their former enemies. After Eira's power is discovered, she is claimed by a vindictive goddess who has never had representation at camp. Eira and Leo are dragged into a thrilling adventure filled with magic, identity, forgiveness, and perhaps even love.

ALL CHARACTERS AT CAMP HALF BLOOD AND CAMP JUPITER BELONG TO RICK RIORDAN, EXCEPT EIRA BOWEN WHO IS FROM MY OWN BRAIN. The events in this book match the events in the Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus series, not anything in Trials of Apollo.

Happening sometime after Camp Jupiter and Half-Blood Hill unite. Percy and Annabeth are finally looking forward to peace and quiet. They've had a hard couple of years. Hard is an understatement. They look forward to kicking back, going to college, collecting a few demigods, and hanging out with their friends. But when Rachel Dare has a fainting fit and reveals a prophecy that shatters the allusion that they'll have even a sort of normal life. Percy is yet again thrown into a quest that is going to take all of his powerful friends to accomplish. But the person he needs most will have to be left behind. Violet didn't ask for this. She never does. It was an accident. But she knows it's not. With the threat of getting kicked out of yet another school Violet has to keep her wits with her as she tries to brave the horrors of high school her senior year. But when another "accident" results in her trashing the auditorium and meeting a dark haired green eyed boy Violet learns that her normal life has never been normal at all. Thrust into a world she doesn't understand with powers she can't control Violet learns some truth about herself and about her parents. Their quest takes them somewhere few have been and come back from and brings together the most powerful group of demigods the two camps have ever seen. Everyone knows their quest will be full of danger. Monsters will be everywhere they turn. If they forge ahead they may not even make it back alive. But if they don't no one will be alive. Will all their worst nightmares come true as they descend into the dark? Or will something more sinister and twisted make them wish they'd never been born?
