Description: Julianna has been alone for as long as she can remember living in Orion. She is often fought through hardships by herself. Still, she has found ways to keep her parents' home, make ends meet and pay back those who have helped her. She has also kept her job as one of the best sharpshooters and lumberjacks. When a group of young family refugees come in from a strange off land, they are welcomed to the remote island. No one has moved to the land of Orion in decades, and the new travelers bring with them nothing but their lives. Among the group of refugees is runaway Beaumont Harvard, a handsome and mysterious young man always on edge. But when a bracing warrior ship of bandits comes and overtakes and destroys the village, Anna comes to realize that sometimes survival is best with the odd one out, even if you don't trust them.
"The Rose and the Wolf" is a bracing tale of action and adventure of when everything you've ever known is gone and wiped away and the only way to survive it to trust your instincts, run, and survive.
