It was a dark and stormy night when it all began...
Mia was walking to her house when she reached a small bakery that had recently opened. "I could use a pie" she thought.
Little did she know, that thought changed her entire life.
As she entered she was struck by a certain smell that reminded her of her childhood... Funny... she had little to no memories that led to anytime before she was eight. Given this, she was sure that this smell had been present during her entire childhood when she still had her mother. It smelled like burnt marshmallows mixed with an enormous amount of leaves and pine wood, the sort of smell that would make you think of a camp fire.
But this was not Mia's case. To her, this place smelled like a family dinner with her mom right after they had cooked an apple pie filled with apples and marshmallows; it smelled like her mother's old closet, a walk-in closet that she loved spending time in as a nine year old girl.
She had no actual memory of her mother as she had died when she was six and only left her with her father, a mean and abusive scum who would always treat Mia as garbage.
As she looked more carefully around the little shop she noticed a small curtain behind witch there was an old lady who looked like she was mixing big pieces of meat with some condiments like parsley and rosemary. "She must be making meat pies", Mia thought. "After all, this is a bakery."
Just as she considered getting closer to the curtain she noticed something else on a table near the cash register. There was a small picture of a beautiful young woman with dark chocolate hair and striking blue eyes that seemed to be able to see everyone as their true self. In her arms there was a little towel that was carefully wrapped around the cutest baby ever known to man."She looks like an extraordinary woman." Mia said.
Sudently she saw the old lady standing next to her "Oh indeed she was.. and that's you right there in her arms. Look how little you were."
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
