For those of you that do not know, a Sonderkommando is an inmate, typically a male of good physical being, that was chosen to clear out the gas chambers. They would be allowed to dress normally and be given benefits of better food quality and living conditions. Although the conditions were not amazing, they were still much better than the average jewish prisoner.All Rights Reserved
