While the breakneck speed of conquest that was accomplished by its initial founder the Great Khan, Chinggis Borjgin was not met. The Mongolian's have learned from the rapid dissolution of their former empire. Thus, instead of swift conquest, they have instead adopted effective conquest stretching all over Asia conquering lands and setting up a new and effective bureaucracy. However, the world has changed since the first Horde marched out of the vast steppe and into the land of the settled people. New Empires have formed, the Chinese still resist far in the south and the Ottomans a once nomadic people like the Mongolians have formed their own empire.
