Daryl Dixon is a man of choice. He chose not to follow his parents wishes. He chose to move way from them to Atlanta, Georgia. There Daryl found a job at his favorite coffee spot "The Grind", and had way more luck with finding an apartment. He enjoyed his small apartment and simple life until Rick Grimes came into the picture. Rick was an officer, who came into the shop everyday, not trying to sound cheesy, but he fell for Daryl sooner or later. Only making his life more complicated.

I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most. You only start to get chapters once the entire story is written. And it finally is. I hope everyone enjoys Angel.

Meeting Dale right away helped until the breakout and you were lost with two duffel bags full of your stuff and your cat until he led you to his camp.
