The beating of his own heart is what kept hope within his heart; knowing that if he were to drop dead right then and there, it wouldn't really matter. Tyler was different from other people. He saw things and dreamed things that no regular person would.. Everyday, it was a new battle for the young adult, whether it was internal or external. There was always something new. Until, Josh came around, instantly turning Tyler's life from black and white, to splashes of colour. But, this isn't good. His mind NEEDS that constant sadness and without it, Tyler fails to function properly.
