When you  are a teenager you have to go through so much. You always hear from people teenage years are something else. When you experience it you know exactly what they mean. When I turned sixteen, it was just a typical another teenage year for me. However, when I finally turned seventeen; I realized what was being sixteen really felt. It may not be the same for everyone. Sixteen was the age for me to see things in different ways. It was most painful years of my life yet. Living under a microscope.  Everything was magnified........

Our teenagers years are often described as blissful blips to be fawned after when we're old. But the reality is, these years are confusing. Baffling. Sometimes just downright strange. And so I documented my life. This isn't a memoir. It's a 'manoir'. Love and lust are dangerous forces, but they can also be beautiful. This is the product of healing and learning what it means to address your problems. I haven't learnt how to love myself, but this project was a damn good place to start.
