Veils of Time [Completed✓]
𝑳𝑬𝑮𝑨𝑪𝒀 𝑶𝑭 𝑳𝑶𝑽𝑬 : 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝑶𝒏𝒆 In a world where shadows of the past loom large, I find myself entwined in a marriage I myself had said 'yes' for. Because I can never be a mother. Never. And he himself had agreed that he had no problem with it. I was so happy the day I thought - maybe, my life could come back on track. Like a fairy tale. But, I don't know what went wrong after our marriage. Karthik Yadav, the enigmatic heir to a powerful empire, who exudes an icy demeanor that hides a turbulent soul - turned TURBULENT towards his wife too. His coldness cuts me deeper than any wound ever could. Then one day my sister-in-law tells me - he used to love another girl before our marriage and maybe he is in love with her even now and that's my BREAKING POINT. My heart is shattered into pieces, in a way that no one will ever be able pick it up and mend it again. My life is RUINED. Atleast that's what I think. Little did I knew - beneath his harsh exterior lies a heart burdened by secrets-secrets that mirror my own. In this twisted tale of pain and longing, will we be able to break the chains of our past and find solace in each other, or are we destined to remain strangers in a marriage built on silence?Concluida
