"Give me a month, and I bet I could make you change your mind about 'love'." He offered with is usual cocky smirk. He seemed like he was so sure he could do anything, I looked at him before leaning in close to his ear and whispering: "Try me." -- Darcy Winters, an animal loving, romantic novel fanatic, kick boxer, who doesn't believe in love. Quirky little girl, but she had her life sorted and figured out, or so she had thought. That was all until her parents made the announcement that they were leaving their hometown in Phoenix, Arizona and moving to California. Darcy could barely register it until they were on the plane flying to her new life. So what happens when she meet the very popular and good looking, Peter Graves? Well she ignores him. At least tries to.

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
