The Myth - The Fading Eden by KatarzynaGawronska1
7 parts Ongoing Mature
According to one of myths in the Universe, the God of Chaos, Azahar, united with the mother of stars, Thilija. From the merging of darkness and light, their daughter Shelaya was born, who, as a demigoddess, was granted the unique gift of creation from the Source of Being-a neon river of magical essence. Shelaya created Eden. This secluded place in the Universe became their happy sanctuary until Thilija's death. Seeing her mother's light fade away in Azahar's arms, Shelaya, in despair, fled into Space-Time, haunted by the thought that her father was to blame for Thilija's death. Meanwhile, Eden began to wither, slowly turning into a barren wasteland, consuming every spark of energy in its path like a plague. Tired of running, Shelaya established the Crystal Kingdom, ruled by strict laws of order, obedience, and lack of empathy. People, granted access to the Source of Being, became ideal warriors and healers; men wielded magical flame and were immune to pain, while women received healing abilities. Each blessing from the Spirit of Milites enhanced their powers but also tightened the bonds on their souls. The Kingdom, surrounded by a high mountain chain, was completely sealed off from the outside world and the faithless. Inquisitors and Priestesses sent on crusades, burning the submission to Queen Shelaya into the hearts of the uninitiated. However, beneath the seemingly happy and prosperous Kingdom, a rebellion against her rule was brewing. The unfolding war between Darkness and Light, ruthless lawfulness, and the freedom of the heart inevitably drew in the main characters: Emir Cavalleys, an ambitious low-born Guardian; Seku Val'Larnez, a prince of a powerful Elven house; and Nicola Smith, a 28-year-old from rural Canada. Tasked with saving the Universe threatened by the spreading wasteland, they set out for the Crystal Kingdom.

"I saw you and you were just standing there. I started walking towards you and you-just-just stood there." Stuttered Stiles. "I tapped on your shoulder and you turned around. You didn't answer me. You didn't even notice I was there. You just stared at something, something that wasn't visible and y-you-" Paused Stiles, whose legs were vibrating and he started to breathe heavily. "And I what?" I asked trying to get the words out. "You died." He stated. "What?" Asked I, like he had just said the most craziest thing ever. It was slightly humorous. He had to be joking, I thought to myself. "You- just died." Murmured Stiles, who had stopped shaking and had stood up. -------------- The world consists of many parallel multiverses. Each separate and unique. We all know Earth 1, yet not many people are familiar to the lost planet, Earth 1000. The planet was Imperium; Declared the most powerful, biggest rogue planet of the multiverse- many people sought out to rule it. Therefore a war was sparked. Some people say, that the planet birthed death because of the deadly war. However, something else was birthed, an heir. Her name was Milia. She possessed true power and ultimately ended the war. Milia ruled the world and her children became the inevitable successors. Although they lacked Milia's gift, the future generation, though it was thousand's of years later contained Milia's powers. The children were named the true heir, therefore they were hunted. No hunter was more well known than the bitch, the baddest; Methaya. Being half human, half snake, her luminescent eyes turned the living into the inanimate. To save her children, the Queen of the planet rifted her children into Earth, where they lived for 500 years, unaware of their cursed destiny. After a prophecy declaring that the oldest would die, the truth started unravelling and they learnt things- that would change things forever. [ magic, romance and madness. ] Everyone knew that a romance between a guardian and their protégé always ended in tragedy - yet they risked it. One day, I read that in real-life fairy tales, the princess sometimes needs to befriend the dragon and kill the prince, perhaps not to the most extreme extent, considering the prince's utility. (*Wink*). Twenty years had passed since the demise of the last living descendant bearing the bloodline of a potent family within the mystical realm. Individuals who possessed magic more formidable than anyone could have fathomed and that very magic could be pilfered if they were to meet an untimely end-a rumour ignited like wildfire. Word began to spread about the sole surviving member of the Lysion family, the last vestige of a lineage renowned for their blessings from the gods (or, as some argue, their curses), once no more than bedtime tales for children. Two decades earlier, a game of hide and seek unfolded that culminated in the death of the final Lysion at the hands of Oldo Blake, a formidable figure in the annals of history. Or so the story goes. An obscure girl. A concealed secret. A relentless pursuit. With a motley crew of bewildering Other Siders on her trail and an absolute dearth of knowledge on how to harness her precious magic, Rosélina Johnson's life transformed from that of an inconspicuous university student to that of a fugitive in the mystic realm, utterly unprepared for what lay ahead.
