Everyone is born with a tattoo that matches their soulmates. Ava and Tyler are best friends. When Ava was young she asked Tyler what his tattoo looked like and she realized, They were soulmates. She was scared. Scared that she found him so early, scared because they were best friends, scared to fall in love. She never showed Tyler her tattoo and as they grew older, they only grew closer together until one day. Tyler was taken. As rebellion struck, their country had to fight for it's right and had to find as many men as possible. It was in this time that Ava realized that she couldn't live without Tyler, she realized that they were soulmates. By the time that Ava found Tyler again it was too late. The government removed their tattoos to keep them focused on saving the country. Ava was fighting for Tyler's love harder than they were fighting for their rights. She was in love with a brainwashed boy, fighting to win back her soulmate.
