"So, what did you say I was back there in the market?" Lydian asked, hoping to get an answer out of him.
"... An Elemental" he said hesitantly, as if speaking those words would let some malicious being know of their location.
"Like in all those history books?" Lydian asked, knowing what an Elemental was full well, and now fearing that Aered was indeed being serious and not just joking around.
He nodded, unfolding his hands and now

The Elemental Trials by stkgamer
10 parts Complete Mature
The Elemental Trials follows the epic journey of Axe, a young hero chosen by fate to restore balance to a world plagued by chaos. When mysterious elemental disturbances-raging fires, destructive floods, massive earthquakes, and violent storms-threaten his village, Axe is thrust into a quest to master the power of the elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. Guided by an ancient prophecy and accompanied by a group of elemental guardians, each representing a different force of nature, Axe sets out to conquer four legendary temples, each filled with dangerous trials and powerful elemental beings. Along the way, he must unlock the secrets of the elemental amulets, harness the raw power of each element, and prepare for the ultimate showdown against an ancient evil known as the Void King, who seeks to corrupt and control the elemental forces for his own dark purposes. As Axe battles through treacherous landscapes-blazing volcanoes, deep ocean mazes, dense forests, and towering sky islands-he learns not only about the world around him but about the strength within himself. His growth as a leader, his connection with his companions, and his mastery of the elements will determine the fate of the entire realm. But even with all four elemental amulets in hand, the greatest challenge awaits Axe in the Void Realm, where the final trial will test his courage, friendship, and resolve. The battle between light and darkness reaches its peak as Axe faces the Void King in a confrontation that will decide the future of the elements-and the world itself. The Elemental Trials is a tale of adventure, friendship, and self-discovery, set in a world where the power of nature holds the key to victory.

(Please read first two chapters for info, thank you!) For a long time, elemental magic has been widely known, used, and practiced. Elemental magic is based upon the four core elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Elemental magic is most prominent in England, where many mages gather to learn and research elemental magic. However, during the early 1500's, the Fire Outbreaks happened. Several various fire mages suddenly swept through and destroyed the smaller cities of England, killing many in their way and leaving no survivors. Due to this the Council of Magic, the governing figure of elemental magic, issued an act - The Anti-Fire Act. This effectively banned any and all use of fire magic within all of England. The Council of Magic was later changed to the Triumvirate in the 1540's, and from then on are set on killing off every last fire mage. Allen Fleming, a 15 year old air mage, wishes to attend the Magical Knights Academy. The academy is where many young, prominent mages attend to improve their use of magic, and eventually become a magical knight. Magical knights are the respected mages who protect the cities of England and keep its citizens safe. But in order to even attend the academy, Allen must first pass the entrance exam. However, Allen's magic is extremely weak and he relies mostly on his physical fighting ability. Air is considered the strongest element within England, and with his lack of air magic prowess, many mages hate and ignore him. But what many do not know, is that Allen possesses a second element - the fire element! Without knowing who his real parents are, and having to keep his fire magic a secret, Allen has to work hard if he ever wishes to become a magical knight and achieve his goals. However, with tensions rising within the Triumvirate, fire mages on the run, and other events happening behind the scenes, Allen must go from being the weakest to the strongest if he even hopes to stop what may be coming in the near future.

Renuo is... maybe... the Water Elemental. He's not sure. What he has done with his affinity hasn't proven to be much. After a vision of a temple at the bottom of a lake, he tries to keep his hope from rising. The trip to reach the possible temple is as dangerous as the other two, and if Renuo can open it, he's sure the trials will be no different. What none of the Elementals could predict, though, is a shocking betrayal. Cover by @Jells_ [Majestic Inc]
