When 32 people disappear from a movie theatre in Sacramento, California; the FBI and local police are called in to investigate.  Hinted on by a message painted onto the screen, they are led to believe that the kidnapper was Alex Dawson; a sideshow street artist specializing in the skill of illusions and magic.  What they don’t know is that there’s more to this story than meets the eye, and they aren’t watching as closely as they should be.
