Hidden in Horror

Long ago there was a group of powerful beings known simply as the Wiccan. They were a direct descendants of a demon named Zaemonon. This demon was incredibly powerful but was killed in a battle against heaven and hell. He lived on however in his followers.

They follow his ancient code of the hunt and live outside of civilization usually in carnivals or other mediums. To be accepted into the group a person has to partake in a blood ritual. This is where they are given a 'target' and they have to sacrifice them to Zaemonon. If accepted they will be able to access ancient magic.

There is two distinct groups of followers known as guilds. The first one is the Stormshroud Guild which was the original group behind the demon. At his passing though they seemed to have calmed down and don't agree with all the teachings. They have angelic blood mixed in with them which makes them hated by the second guild Ebontalon.

The Ebontalons are cruel and completely loyal to the demonic teachings. They have a cynical sadistic view towards any non-members and enjoy hurting people just for the hell of it. This does not mean they are all bad though and most of their kids were born into the group. Some of the kids realize something wrong but due to the fact everyone is doing it they don't see the evil in it.
