"I believe you are more than ready," the God answered. "You have trained long and hard to combat this threat with us."
The brunette female let out a sigh. "That may be true, but compared to the others, mortal or not, my power comes nowhere close to what they possess." She stared at her hands, which she just now noticed were shaking slightly.
"And now, for the first time in my life... I am genuinely afraid."

He began to place kisses across her jaw, "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." Life is an odd creature. Sometimes the expected turns out to be unexpected, and other times it's the other way around. When you add two time travelers from the future, a former avenger, and a princess of compassion, playing with timelines might turn perilous. He would never expect her to be his future, and she would never expect him to be hers. Maybe they're not meant to be together, but maybe they are. Perhaps they only need to be prodded. This is a reboot of the first stories I've written on Wattpad. I've noticed that they weren't the best of quality so here's a proper telling of the story. The OC will be more involved and it will feel more like a harem story than before. We follow the story of Manado Chujin who as a child was locked away in the flesh pits by Shang Tsung. By the age of 12, he is found and rescued by the princess of Outworld but due to complications, has to leave the realm. He then finds himself in Earthrealm where he encounters its protector, the Thunder god known as Raiden. Raiden, seeing Manado's situation, decides to train Manado in the ways of kombat as his new champion. Then the mortal kombat tournament occurs and Manado finds himself reuniting with his rescuer and strange things start to occur, namely him finding out that a lot of the ladies find themselves attracted to him, much to his confusion.
