"You have got to be kidding me." I said.
"Nope, it's true, babe." said Derek, putting an arm around my waist. I scowled and pulled away.
"No, no. You're both insane!" I yelled, putting my hands up in surrender and backing away. Seconds later I heard their boots squeaking in the snow as they ran to catch up with me. "What kind of person meets someone and then goes and tells them that they are some supernatural creature two days later?" I asked, spinning around. "A crazy person! That's who!" I yelled, throwing my hands up and looking to Gabriel. "And you! Where do you get off siding with him and his craziness?"
"You just stay there and don't freak out." Gabriel said, softly. I sighed and watched as they unzipped their coats and started to pull of their shirts. I lifted one eyebrow in confusion and scolded myself internally for admiring both of their attractive and muscular bodies. By the time I got myself back to reality, I was on my arse in the snow, scrambling backwards trying to get away from the wings I was seeing literally unfold from the backs of these two men in front of me. "Hang on, wait. Don't keep backing up you're going to hit..." Derek stopped and winced as I hit something hard behind me.
"The tree." Gabriel finished as they both stepped toward me.
"No!" I heard myself shriek, "No! You stay away!" I stood up and started to run but tripped over my own foot and fell again, only to be caught by Derek. I started to scream and kick but his intense eyes stopped me.
"You have to stop. You have to listen." Derek said.
"We are angels. Well, and angel and a fallen." said Gabriel. Derek glowered at him."You have to make The Choice."
