The sin of Envy. The overwhelming longing for the blessings and achievements of another. This feeling that is capable of making one doubt their own self worth and meaning in this world, and he was no exception. While he was alive, he felt this envy for his very own brother, whom he cherished dearly. Upon his death, however, this overwhelming burden of envy plagues him to his grave and created a being that is composed of all of his resentment and covetousness. A being comprised of his loathing and bitterness and one that has only one goal in mind: to step out the shadows and kill the one that forced him to experience such an existence. And, just his luck, this person is right in his grasp. Within the church of sins, from whence he came, he looks forward to showing his "beloved brother" who shall truly stand victorious. What will happen when one is very calm and peaceful sweet sunlight and another is like dark and terrifying darkness of the night. When such completely opposite images will clash with each other. The sweet sunlight will be scorching or the darkness will be bright, it will be a sight worth seeing. Or a completely different world will be created which neither of these two would have wanted nor ever thought of.

(This story is outdated and COMPLETELY based off of a roleplay between my friends and I. Each character is HEAVILY based on the lore and storylines they have created for their respective characters, and includes OCs.) He starts feeling hopeless and worthless, knowing that no one will ever listen to his problems or care. Does it really matter, though? He's only a shadow anyways, right? However, one night, Mario wakes up to Luigi having another nightmare.
