The Anniversary {Sebaciel}

December 14th, 2003.

That was the date when Ciel Phantomhive's ordinary childhood turned into a living hell in only a few hours. On that date, his mother, Rachel Phantomhive, had divorced his father, Vincent Phantomhive, and left to go elsewhere in the world. Though, being the slightly mad person she was, she didn't leave the family by just signing a few papers and paying some money. Instead of being forced to pay money, she let the house where her 4-year-old son and "husband" were sleeping peacefully, burn. The flames had licked high into the sky and it was only the crackling of those flames that were able to disguise the screams from the child.

Now, September 2nd, 2016, Ciel Phantomhive covers the scars left behind from that fire behind an extravagant mask, given to him by the same person who had destroyed his life. After that day, Ciel never trusted another person ever again and never tried to befriend anyone.
