"You got the 'little' part right there, Princess!" he shouted after me. I threw up my middle finger back to him and heard him laugh as I exited out the doors rather dramatically. ... I'm tired of all those high school stories about a straight-A girl student with the perfect life who falls for the stereotypical Mr. Bad Boy who wears leather black jackets and only has a soft spot for her. The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel. "Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question. "Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly. I find myself grinning whilst reading it, I continue to look through our memories that she's written into this little brown book but stop when I reach a page with almost nothing on it but a hauntingly beautiful self-written quote "the love between us was sick, twisted, torturous and full of malice. But like cocaine, he took my pain away" this simple page causes confusion to cloud my mind. ------------------------------ A set of short stories following a girl and the love of her life, as they go through hardship, love and continue to make it through the odds together.
