I should warn you our world is no longer here. It's hell. Fire is everywhere and there is no one to put it out. Those who survived the first few days fled in fear. Hideous monsters roam around our empty cities. People have many names for them, Infected, Zombie, Walkers. We all made up our own name for the flesh eating monsters. This is the world we live in now. Survivours scrap for what ever is left of food, supplies and shelter. Some will even go so far as to kill for it if there isn't enough. We do this all while trying not to get bit and scratched by these zombies. If we do, god help the person who got bit or scratched. They or you will turn into one, and that process is hell too. Just wishing you could die already so you don't feel the pain.
My name is Sapphire Walker. I'm originally from Kentucky, but we moved to Maine so we could live with my stepmother and stepsisters and have the wedding there. I was 14 when we moved and I am currently 17. This was all just a couple of months before this stupid thing called the apocalypse happened. A year later my father died. Ever since then I have been a servant to my stepmother and stepsisters.

Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Complete
