Jovie, a leader in a rebel group who has stolen one of Earth's few life rafts, is suddenly faced with a horrifying realization; For every rebel aboard the ship, an innocent soul was left behind to burn on Earth. 

So who is dying in the rebel's place, and whose stories have been lost forever? These questions flicker through Jovie's mind as she survives her first few days on a one way trip toward sanctuary.
