Paint me a picture ..."I'm sorry, come again?" I shamefully said realizing that I tuned out. A dash irritability sparked in her eyes but it converted to understanding. "You coughed quite a lot of blood up." She informed me in a by-the-way tone of voice "You have a Blunt trauma injury in your upper abdomen area, you're stomach and liver were badly bruised. The impact was so strong it almost matched the effect of a body being hit by a car at average speed." Horror was the only emotion I had left "Thankfully no internal bleeding, but it will be extremely difficult to do things like walk, stoop, run, even eat." After hours of unnecessarily loud questions and constant gasps of shock, I was finally alone in my hospital bed. The doctor never said I couldn't move so I painfully attempted to get off my bed, but I failed. The room was empty and lights were bright. The all white setting made me feel like I was here waiting to be tortured. A soft rustle made me aware that I had fallen asleep so I jumped out of my dreams.
