When the heroic Lombax, Ratchet, crash-lands on an uncharted planet in an unknown part of the galaxy, he finds himself dragged into the life of a seemingly lively young adult and her crazy "family". Consisting of a rather moody young man with a dark, brooding persona and secrets to hide, an amusing little animal with a running mouth and a love for booze, a cousin who spends her time cleaning, fixing, and building cars/guns, and an old uncle who knows more of their world than anyone alive, nothing was too short of strange. But not everything is as it seems and not everyone is who they say they are...where Death awaits at every turn, hoping to finally put the galaxy's biggest hero six foot under.

The story was set in eastern part of India , where the rebels or insurgency was at its peak. Many people specially the women and children were badly affected due to this major upheaval. Johnson was a simple college going boy of nineteen,who became the dreaded and most feared person even among the rebel groups. Ruthless and cold blooded who could execute the deadliest of enemies. But somewhere along his line of work he was in for major surprise when he met somebody who mould him and everyone woke up to the shocking drama. The dreaded millitant as goes by the name Viper , and as the name suggested, he was as slippery and as deadly as the viper snake. Even the topmost leader of the millitant group Tarantula who were holed up in the Chittagong hilltracts of Bangladesh thought twice to interact with Johnson alias Viper. Who has betrayed??? Meticulous planning and razor sharp precision it was impossible to crack the Master Gun Runner. Perhaps the chink had been created by some body close to him. Jonjon of Tarantula? or Brian of Outlandish?Who informed the law? Will Johnson escaped this dragnet like last time? The odds were against him this time and he was pushed to the fish net by somebody with better planning and implementation. Thed whirling of mind continued and no answers. She takes the opportunity to scour her birth galaxy for hints toward a mysterious trait about herself: her ability to create dimensional rifts at will. Along the way, they are joined by Ratchet, Rivet, Clank, Kit, Talwyn and others who guide them around the galaxy, sometimes sharing more than just adventure.~ So, this is a wildly canon-divergent post-RA alternate universe. For the record, I am aware Ratchet and Talwyn are canonically dating (as far as I'm aware), but for the purposes of this AU they broke up some time before Rift Apart. The title is subject to change, however it's been like this since I began writing the tale back in 2019. It has gone through an ENORMOUS rewrite prior to posting.
