Ryan stepped closer toward Thea. Their faces were only inches apart. Their eyes were locked for a moment. Ryan's gaze turned from Thea's eyes to her lips. Ryan was going to kiss Thea but Thea turned her head away.
Ryan was stunned for a moment. "I knew it. How could you possibly feel the same way I feel for you. You probably think that I'm a monster," Ryan said.
Ryan turned to leave but Thea grabbed his arm. He din't realize he had changed when he was leaving. His nails were longer, his ears became pointed, his facial hair has grown and his canines sharpened.
Thea saw everything but she did not freak out and did not let go of Ryan's hand. Instead, she caressed his face, pulled him closer and kissed him. Ryan kissed her back. When their lips touched, Ryan's face changed back to normal.
There was definitely a spark between them. But it's not as simple as that. Being together means that they both are in danger. Will their love be strong enough to conquer everything? Read to find out.

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
