Ella's story begins with a curse. Elsa's with a blessing.
They were twins, meant to be equal and the same. But after the casting of a rogue enchantment, Ella cursed with all the vices of the two and more, while Elsa is gifted with the virtues, becoming the epitome of perfection.
King Henry, their father, holds out much promise for Elsa, blessed and beautiful. For Ella, not so much. Flowers wilt when she comes close. Servants have died after brushing past her. Whisked away to a tower since she was twelve, she's desperate to escape.
But who's the cursed one, really?
Ella may be trapped in a tower, but she's wild and free. Elsa may be everything her sister never was, but she's trapped in a diabolical plan concocted by her father, a bird never meant to be free.
As Elsa sets out on a journey to complete her father's mission, and Ella meets someone with the potential to reverse the enchantment, both must embrace their identities, and fight to keep each other safe.
