This story is purely AU and mostly just fluff, maybe with a little angst here and there. It will have elements from the anime and manga but ghouls don't exist, and Kaneki is not as mentally unstable. I haven't caught up on the manga, so forgive me if everyone is slightly OOC! Kaneki works with the FBI after being transferred to the US after going deeply undercover in Aogiri, and meets Touka, a former coworker during his college years, at her coffee shop! 
Kaneki is 23, and Touka is 21.
