The Missing

I started off at the edge of the woods in my backyard. The night seemed calm other than the fierce wind that played a ferocious tune in the night. I backtracked to where I last saw her and yet she still was lost to me. No matter how hard I tried she still haunted me. The thoughts of the way she laughed broke me down. I had loved her and now she was gone. Dead.
